About me
Isabelle Collazo is a Chicago-based dance artist and educator with a passion for dance and youth development. She holds an MFA in Choreography and K-12 Dance Licensure from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has been teaching dance, yoga, and social emotional wellness in Chicago schools and community centers since 2011. Isabelle has had the privilege of working with esteemed arts and wellness organizations including Chicago Public Schools All-City Dance Ensemble, The Chicago Ballet Center, River North Dance Chicago, Forward Momentum, Mindful Practices, and Jewish Community Centers. Isabelle has studied dance in Taiwan, Germany, and France and in 2015, participated in a six-month cultural exchange program in Yangzhou, China where she served as a western dance teacher at a private arts school. She holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. She is a current member of the National Dance Education Organization and dance and the Child International Organization (daCi).
